Yoga poses for beginners

There are many poses to learn in yoga but in this post I’ll start with the easiest ones, the ones for beginners. Probably you won’t be able to execute the poses in perfection but the key is in practice over time.

Yoga positions bring many health improvements and also bring spiritual improvements by equalizing the vital energies within us.
The first pose is the Cobbler’s Pose or Baddha Konasana, in this pose you sit down over the mattress and bend your knees bringing the soles of the feet together, at the same time the knees fall out to either side.

Second Yoga pose is the Easy Pose or Sukhasana, in this pose you need some padding to put under your sit bones so that your hips come above your knees. Then you just cross the legs but not one over the other but one behind the other.

Another Yoga pose that allows you to extend your back and gain more flexibility is the Half Lord of the Fishes Pose or Ardha Matsyendrasana, in this position you sit down and you leave one knees down like if you were doing the cross legged sit down while the other leg is up with the feet on the ground next to the other leg knee. The body faces the upward flexed leg while the elbow touches that leg knee, the other harm gives you support and you should place it by your side. Try to make the most out of this position by extending your back to the maximum. Remember to face outwards while performing the exercise.
